Wedge is passionate about, and specialize in, small businesses exclusively, offering wholesale-priced exclusive webdesign, hosting, and online business promotion.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
The love of creating websites.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
2001 It was a credit repair site.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I thought the word wedge was a great name as in todays competitve internet market, you must be able to wedge yourself into the fray.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
I am the only company offering exclusive wholesale web design.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Build a presence in Alberta's website creation industry.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I've been in this industry since 2000, I have learned how to balance those for true success.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Good question, if it comes I will surely make a change.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
100% I own my own very profitable online businesses that have experianced huge growth, and handled it well.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Not enough space here to explain the knowledge I have gained over the years.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Finding how to create custom designed websites for wholesale prices.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Thinking I would have lots of free time, not true.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I have been running sites for 8 years, and will continue to run sites forever, this is my passion.
Where do you see wedge internet marketing in 5 years?
Well, we will be in an even bigger office, with more emplyees meeting the demands of many clients.
