Hand Writing Vs. Typewriters Vs. Computers

By Office Bull at 04/24/08 21:50

, writing materials: Manual Hand Writing Vs. Computer Typing

Before, we write our homeworks manually. You have to develop a good writing strategy so your professors and your teachers will understand your hand writing. Then came the typewriters. These typewriters enabled us to type projects and reports on a more formal way than manually hand writing it. But this technology has its flaws. Although it still in use in some parts of the world on special occasions, it was generally replaced by the modern computers.

But this new conventional ways of expressing our thoughts in written forms has their own advantages and disadvantages.

Manual hand writing gives us a definite grip on what we are writing. The special touch we apply to those what we write gives it a special meaning. Our emotions are also encrypted in them, if we are lonely or angry, at times our hand writing is hard and strongly written, while if we are happy and gay, we usually create a very pleasant handwritten result. I don't know if its just me but manual hand writing makes me feel exhausted. And I really have a lousy, ugly hand writing haha.

As for the typewriter, I believed the only good thing about it is that makes the hand written form more formal. If for convenience, it is not a runner. Because you have to make a draft first before you type it on a typewriter that will took a lot more time than writing it manually. If you won't make a rough draft, one mistake in your typewriter means you have to start it over again, unless you are a hustler in typewriting.

Nowadays this is the most commonly used form of written ideas is by using the computer. With a computer, by its keyboard that, you can type and type whatever you want and still have the convenience of erasing or editing it when you found something in what you are writing is wrong. This is also used mainly because you can store your finished works and even the drafts and just go back to it when you are ready to make an article again. Still, computers can be very hazardous to your health. The computer monitors are proven to be one of the contributors for early dull-eyes cases.

In the end, the writer still has the choice of what to use when writing.
