Smiling is Good for Business

I cannot overemphasize the bad effects that the recent economic storm has already brought to small businessmen. It is easy to frown, cry, and break down when you see that you are already near the brink of business bankruptcy. At this point, can one still smile in the face of failure? Can one still genuinely smile?~~

It will be a difficult job, but it certainly has to be done unless you want to speed up the failure of your business. It is common business knowledge that smiling at your customers, whichever industry you are in, a boost for business confidence and possible plus point for you. In fact, an old Chinese proverb even says that a person who does now know how to smile should not set up a shop. Think about it. Would you really want to buy from a shop that has an impatient and frowning salesperson?

Studies have already shown time and again that humor is one of the most favored traits that a person may ever have. With humor, you can smile confidently, breaking barriers between you and your clients and possibly establishing a healthy relationship with them. It's one of your best assets. Smiling is a major component of marketing, folks.

Everyone is having a hard time these days. You are not the only one, so there's really no point affecting them and sending them the message that they are not welcome. If you keep on frowning at people, after a certain time you're surely going to drive them away and send them to competition. Make sure that your smile is genuine, though. Make sure your smile is as genuine as the product that you intend to sell.

In conclusion, I will only say that clients are your business. Learn how to connect with these people and you will be rewarded--and you know what? Connecting starts with a simple smile. Trust me. A smile can make you go a long way.
