Kids Do the Darndest Things

By Jennifer Burton at 07/15/08 11:17

My kids love the school shopping time of year. Especially when they get to go down the aisles and pick out all of the crayons, pencils, and folders they want. Of course, half of the school supplies we buy usually end up as playthings or get traded at school for who knows what.

My oldest just entered middle school this year and it will be the first time they are required to cover books. I bought some of those neat stretchy book covers so he could reuse them next year.

However, my six year old twins has another idea about their brothers book covers. They took them out of his room and were using them as little batman hoods. They had even cut little eye holes out.

Needless to say, those school supplies fell victim to some creative little boys that love batman. It was a good laugh though. If only children could be entertained by 43 cent bookcovers for their whole lives. It would make mine much easier.
