Entrepreneurship helped Alfa Demmellash live the American dream. Despite the background of torture and murder that this native Ethiopian had lived through, she chose the path less traveled and decided to start up a non-profit organization that will help low-income individuals to start their own businesses.
Businesses are at the heart of the American dream, according to Demmellash, and as long as there are people like her who are willing to help, the Dream will continue to live.
