Small business owners rally against landlord extortion

A group of mom-and-pop advocated assembled on the City Hall's steps last week to protest against the alleged extortion of their respective landlords.
According to this group of small business owners, landlords are asking for additional payment under the table to secure the lease. The group is asking for federal investigation into the practice and protection for the small business owners, who form the backbone of the economy.
