Book Shopping Spree

Yesterday I visited a National Bookstore outlet in Manila, Philippines because I was looking for a book that my newphew told me they will be needing for their school report. It was a book of old folklores. Since I have not been in a bookstore for quite a while, I said I wll just buy it for him.

Looking for a bookstore in the Philippines is not a problem. Bookstores here are about the same number as Starbucks stores. There are Power Books, Rex Bookstore, Books Sale, Book Magnet, Shelf Stockers and the biggest bookstore chain the Philippines, the National Bookstore.

I had fun roaming around the National Bookstore outlet inside a local shooping mall, SM Dasmarinas. It was quite big and the books are well organized.

I easily found what I came there for. BUt instead of going home after acquiring the foklore book, I found myself shopping for more! I love books, but I actually hate going to bookstore specially when I have money to spend, because I end up spending them all in books.

I bought additional 3 books, 2 novels and 1 book about traveling around Asia. My passion for books was re-lived!

Yeah your right! Bookstores here are about the same number as Starbucks stores. You can found anywhere. Nice post. Yhanks for sharing
