Aussie Home Based Business Network Interview

By Interviewer at 06/11/08 02:02

Name of your website?

Aussie Home Based Business Network

Your name?

Natalie Zwar

Your Location (city, etc)

Mount Gambier

Please give us a short summary of your website?

IT is a "One Stop" shop for all Small and Home Based Business. Not all info on site. Once they subscribe I am able to email and keep contact and supply info .As It grows some of that will go up on the website with access to the members area.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I have had three Home Based Business's and found a lack of support and information. I want to help others with Small and HBB to achieve success and have access to information

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

approx seven years ago. It is a site selling a variety of products www.southernwattle.com.au Still on the net

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I shortened it as it made it easier to type and I have a Buy and Sell site linked to http://www.ahhbn.com.au using http://www.aussiehomebasedbusinesnetwork.com.au but have just got another domain name to link to the Buy and Sell site.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

More access to information and support. Able to change my site on a regular basis if required. Have many avenues to offer support ,information ,ideas etc to members.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To build a network of subscribed Small and HB business that will have huge benifits from being a member. I want to introduce a chat room. I want to promote my seminars through the subscription base. I have had a very interesting business life and have many "War Stories". I have done ebooks that can offer lots of help.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It is only early days

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Probably use some of that to subscibe to Google Adwords , general advertising and telemarketing.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None at this stage

What has been your biggest challenge?

To get known and build credabilaty.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

It is still early days as I am accessing how and what to do

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

has not

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I have had a website http://www.southernwattle.com.au for three or more years. but www.ahbbn.com.au is only six months old . This is the one I want to get off the ground.

What is your website address?

Aussie Home Based Business Network
