This student at Shenandoah University isn't waiting until he graduates to start realizing his dream.

29 year old Mohamed Sesay has already helped several clients improve their businesses or even start a business.

He purchased a local barber shop to put his business plan into practice, and put his money where his mouth is.

He has used creative ways to promote his business such as making his shop a meeting place for the SU students, while giving them discounts on their barber services.

Entrepreneurs are excited about the annual business plan competition that has gone on now for nearly a dozen years.

Entrepreneus and innovators can bring the country out of its woes

If there are people in the country who can bring the the US out of its woes and back into its former glory, it would be the entrepreneurs and the innovators, not the government and the failed businesses.

This is, at least, the common thought during the awarding of successful entrepreneurs and business students at S. Clark Butler Entrepreneur Awards last Thursday night.

Entrepreneurs eat a little - learn a little

Someimtes it's not about reading the textbooks and figuring out the rules. Sometimes you will benefit more just from talking to someone who has been there and done that.
