When I went back to live with my parents, I left my desktop computer in my house as well as a lot of other stuff including my ergonomic computer chair and lamps. But recently my parents bought a new set of desktop computer and we had to buy a new computer table for it. I told them I will just get my old computer table in my house but they insist they want a new one so I accompanied them in the nearest home and office furniture store. When I was a kid, my mom would always yell at me when I leave my toys behind unarranaged. She would then yell again every afternoon when I came home from school because I did not fix my bed before I left the house. Ahh, those were the days. And now that I have my own house, I know how it feels when your house is in a state of 'disaster'. I really deserved those yells and sermons. I can be really untidy in the house specially when I'm busy. But most of the time I see to it that I clean the house, because it's never good to go home from an exhausting day and see your house is all messed up. I also bought storage furnitures to make storage-worthy things easily stalled in a position that will look tidy so visitors will never be shock at how messy the house is. Recently I went to my grandparents' ancestral house to check it. No one's living there except for a keeper and once in a while my parents would ask one either one of us siblings to look and check if everything's doing fine. This time I was the one sent. Almost all of the things inside the house are antique collections of my grandparents. They have those large archival cabinets and storages boxes of old musical records. I was quite amazed at their vast musical collection. Everything are in good condition. Their 1935 gramophone record player / phonograph even works perfectly.
