Just a few days ago, I bought a lot of lanterns for my house, my parents' house and for my office. It has always been part of our tradition that we decorate the places we always stay with colorful lanterns that sets the mood for Christmas.

Many said that lanterns are just a way to make the occasion more beautiful. But based on my observation, lanterns are also a way to make your employees or your family members be in the right mood for the season.

Gmail Themes Now Available

I have always been using Gmail as my preferred e-mail client. I know a lot of other people who are using Gmail as well and I always think that Gmail is way superior than other e-mail platforms.

There are a lot of features in my Gmail account than I often use, which cannot be found in many other e-mail servers. One example is the Google chat that can be found within the e-mail window. If you will enable the Google chat feature, you will be able to know who among your contacts are online, provided that they too have enabled the chat feature.

Recycled Office Christmas Decorations

Do you have a lot of magazines, papers or any kind of office materials that you think is just trash? Well, you can think again and consider its life before putting it in the trash can.

From Mac To Windows To Ubuntu

I have always been using Windows ever since. When I learned how to use a computer, the first OS that was running it was from Bill Gates' Microsoft. I actually didn't know there is also a Mac that time. When the Windows commercial "I'm a PC" was aired, I even started saying "I'm a PC, I'm a PC!".

And then a few years ago, I was able to have my very own Apple laptop. It was very hard to get by at first, but I finally learned my way through it. Though I really can't say that Mac is superior over Windows, I am certain to say that Mac and it's OS X rocks when it comes to graphical displays. I was able to use that feature for my work. Up to now I am still using a Mac but only for its display features, but most often I still rely on my Windows PC. For some reason, I still feel at home using it that Steve Jobs' products.

Cloth Gift Wrapping for the Holidays

Yesterday, I was surprised when I looked at may mail post. There is a box that is named for me. I thought it was from Santa because I heard he's giving early Christmas gifts so he can go on a Christmas Party on the Christmas eve.

Well, it's a bit shocking when I looked into the sender's address. It was from my old old friend that is now living in the province. He flew back to their province to study college and I have not heard from him since then. Counting the years, it's been like 5 years since we last saw each other.

World Usability Day 2008

Once every year since 2005, the world is now celebrating what we call World Usability Day. This day long festival is done to celebrate and promote the value of usability engineering, user-centered design, and the responsibility of the user to ask for things that will work better.

In short, World Usability Day is for products that make life easier for products that are useful, user friendly and helps ascend life for the better. The celebration is sponsored by the Usability Professionals' Association, a special organization that according to them is dedicated to "those who promote and advance the development of usable products, reaching out to people who act as advocates for usability and the user experience."

The Christmas holidays is fast approaching. The cold wind is blowing once again reminding us that we have to prepare the Christmas gifts and start shopping for the holiday decorations.

One of the most common thing we see in every houses and establishments during these times are lanterns. We see a lot of them in different colors and sizes, makes you wonder how much does one cost.

I Make Money With Videos

For quite sometime now, I have this work in a cable company that creates specialized program that is suitable or rather adaptable to the vicinity where I am living. In fact, the programs we create are very confined to our area including the language, the location and the everyday life of the people here.

One good point that I noticed here is that, they allow some locals to earn payment for every personal video they submit which can spark interest to the mass audience. Even if you're an amateur film maker, or just a video hobbyist and record everything out of fun, you can join.
