Yesterday, I was surprised when I looked at may mail post. There is a box that is named for me. I thought it was from Santa because I heard he's giving early Christmas gifts so he can go on a Christmas Party on the Christmas eve.Well, it's a bit shocking when I looked into the sender's address. It was from my old old friend that is now living in the province. He flew back to their province to study college and I have not heard from him since then. Counting the years, it's been like 5 years since we last saw each other.
I was really surprised that up to this day, he still knows my parent's address. I was unfortunate that I am right in my parent's house that time and not in my own house. If not, my brother will surely open the gift before I even lay my own hands on it.
When I opened the box, I was presented with a square-like cloth. The fabric was beautiful and comes with a white, light blue and silver color. The cloth turn out to be a kind of wrapper. So I opened it and was shocked that it was actually a book.
He used the cloth to wrap the book. The book was Mitch Albom's Five People You Meet in Heaven. We have actually read the book when we were still in High School. He knows I love the book very much. He knows I lost my copy of it so maybe that's the reason why he sent me one.
Although it was a simple gift, I feel very special. I really love how he wrapped it in nice cloths. Now I'm thinking of doing the same kind of wrapping for my godsons and goddaughters. Oh well, this gift reminds me that Christmas is just a few days away.

Your friend is on track with the newest trend in most of the world (although it's old in Japan and Korea where it is known as furoshiki and bojagi, respectively). We have a full page of how to wrap in our book or you can search the internet for either of the words above.
Not are these wraps beautiful and useful as you point out, they are eco-friendly in every way.
Thanks for blogging about it.
Warmly,
Lynn
