Let's say that you have already decided on what must be the color of your office, the next thing to do is choosing what kind of wall must your office have. In many cases, walls are not being paid attention. Many choose just the ordinary one. That would be reasonable if you do not have spare budget for walling, but if you have, why not venture into the world of wall hunting. Different colors appear differently on different kind of walls. Different businesses also needs to have their own specific walls. For example, if you own a music rehearsal studio, your walls must resemble like bumpy rocks. It must have different levels and rough texture so it will be able to absorb the sound.
For people who owns photo studios, your shop walls need some special treatment. Most of the time, photo studio lobby must always look as gorgeous as possible. Put some of your best shots that will create a feelgood air for your customers. This way they can be sure you're great at handling photo jobs. On your production site, the advisable wall is colored black but remember that it must not be shiny or glossy, otherwise it will reflect the camera flash and your photo will just be trash. You can also put some hand painted or real photo backgrounds for your customers to choose from, but nowadays that can be done digitally through a computer.
For people who chooses to put wallpapers instead of coloring them, you can either go for full image wallpapers, small color patterns, or simply plain colors. Most of the time, I see wallpapers as just accent to a painted wall. I saw an establishment before wherein their walls are beige colored and they put wallpapers of garden flowers on the lower part of the wall. That was so attractive and effective for creating a fresh feeling and making your office look wider and environmentally friendly.
For business who wants to create imaginative impressions to your customers, you can use recycled materials as walls. I worked for an annual festival where I have to design a booth that can attract customers. I change designs every year, but last year was the best for me. I created an outer space environment where we made used of recycled papers and card boards. What we did was we put all those paper in water and let them disintegrate. Once they are all soaked up with water, we crumbled them and through them on the walls. Once the dried up, they will looked liked meteors or rough surfaces of the moon. The coloring did the most of the magic though.
You walls need not to be expensive, you just have to use your creativity and the resources that are available. The power of creating an ideal home office is within you.
