The Great Office War

By Parker Pen at 12/30/08 07:36

A regular wakes in the morning between 4-6am, depending on the distance of where they live to where they work, and starts to prepare themselves for their office work at around 7 or 8am. From that time one, work and only work relate stuff is all you can do. Not until the lunch break came.

For an hour of break, it's time to recharge the body out of the contagious office boredom. You know, getting bored in the office is like a virus that spreads out to the next office table of your coworker and infects them too. This is pretty much the same with the office sleepiness.

Christmas is one of those holidays most people are waiting for. Aside from the long vacation, bonus salaries and food everywhere, it is also the time where companies put up a party for the whole team, for the whole working force, the office Christmas party.

In many companies, they usually just set up their Christmas parties a few days before Christmas, mostly before the company announces the official break from work that is up until Christmas and some are even given a holiday break up to New Year.

By Website Introductions at 12/20/08 22:32

A Creative Brief For An Effective Commercial

By Alt at 12/14/08 00:42
A product's success depends on three things, price, effectiveness of the product and the promotion/marketing for that specific product. Of the three, the promotion or the marketing is the least concern of the consumers but failure to create an effective advertisement or marketing scheme may result into the failure of the product to do well in the market.

In many countries, large companies invest a lot of their money in advertising and promotion. Creating a commercial for a small product means a lot of money to spend, but they are sure that they can get back what they paid for by instilling in the public mind their product and its usability.

Now We're Talking

By Alt at 12/09/08 02:37
For quite sometime now, I have been watching the Boiler Room and I'm quite happy to tell you that it's one of the best series I have ever seen. I am catching up with the episodes I have not seen so I'm downloading them all in my home office.

One of the best scenes probably in the series is during the time when the main character is called upon a a telemarketer selling him a newspaper subscription. Being a naturally good talker, he himself told the telemarketer it's the not proper way of talking to a potential client and asked him to repeat it all again.
