One of my many dreams when I was younger was to become a proud owner of a restaurant chain. I first heard of McDonalds' luck of becoming a known fast food store worldwide and that actually gave me the motivation, aside from the inspiration from my family. I know it sounds weird and almost impossible, but I fantasize of becoming a food tycoon in the future, a super tycoon! Who knows, I might bumped on a sack of million dollars one day and start my own food shop that will go globally. Lol.
I learned how to cook at an early age of around 4 or 5 years old. Since I was the youngest, my mom would always have me cling to her wherever she goes, mostly in the kitchen. I think more than half a day, my mom would stay in the kitchen preparing food for our big family.
She would wake just before 4am and start cooking food for my siblings who are bound for school by 6am and also for my father before he goes to his office. Further, she had to cook more for the rest of the family including me, my grandma and grampa. Her kitchen masterpiece never goes out of taste. Everyday she would make different set of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She was not educated for it, but she has the taste and passion for cooking. From then on, I told myself that I will become great at cooking like my mom and would start a food business.
Actually, most of the business involving my family is related to food and agriculture. We have an animal farm, vegetable and fruit farm and a stake on a sugar plantation. My oldest sister owns 2 franchise of a fast food chain while my other sister owns a small bakeshop. My brother himself recently franchised a Dunkin' Donuts store inside a mall.
As of the moment, I invested in a food corporation owned by a high school classmate's family. Though its pretty small, I am hoping it will become bigger in years and eventually be able to set my own food business.
I know it will take time, but time flies easily, and I'm positively looking for my future.
