How To Be Recognized For Your Work

I know a lot of people who I can say are very much dedicated to their work. There are a lot of them who are willing to stay late at night just to finish a project, would go to their offices earlier than other employees, never misses a deadline, always attentive and always productive.

If you are one of these people, then good for you as I know that you will succeed in the future. But sometimes, our efforts are just not enough to be recognized. There is a time where our sacrifices go unnoticed and our efforts do not mean anything to our co-employees, or even our boss. Or perhaps, the people around you noticed that you are just doing all these effort because you wanted a reward back. So what must we do to be recognize for our actions properly?

• Do not be self-centered

Always consider that your boss is as busy as you are, maybe busier. Do not get depress if your effort was not recognize. If you have a chance, do things better next time. Try to talk with your officemate about working as one and implementing cooperation. Try to be a good example to everyone, and do not focused on yourself alone. Eventually, your efforts will be paid
• Recognize others efforts

You are not the only one working in your office. If you are exceeding efforts, so is your officemate. Remember that you are not the only one that seeks recognition. Have time to recognize others efforts as well. Make a good impression that you're not only doing things for your own glory. A person who knows how to recognize other people's doing are said to be the best observer and fair player.
• Be unique and outstanding

Doing things on a regular way is OK, but not outstanding. If you are the one who seeks recognition, do not do things on the regular process. Be unique, do something different. Innovation is the key for the recognition you seek. Try to do things that will exceed the normal results without compromising any details, even the smallest ones. With this accomplished, there's no denying you can have the recognition you want by tomorrow, unless tomorrow is a Sunday.
